A trigger is something small that has the potential to set off something much, much larger.
One of the hardest scriptures for me to live by is 1 Peter 5:7 which tells us to cast our anxieties on the Lord. But I continue to try to learn how to better follow this instruction because it leads us right into another vital instruction — to stay alert and sober to avoid becoming prey to an enemy who seeks to devour us (1 Peter 5:8).
In this hour-long workshop, we will go through steps to dealing with events that trigger negative emotions, lay a foundation of God’s promises for each step, and support each other as we take steps towards better understanding and dealing with our emotions.
